Requirements For 2nd Degree Initiation
Once initated 1st Degree you should be able to answer most questions about Wicca. You are now Priests and Priestess's and as clergy you are obligated to serve. Your service will include but not be limited to teaching and mentoring of dedicants under a third Degreee supervision. The 1st degree priest or priestess will take more important roles in our rituals. You will be role models for our 1st degree candidates
You will start to fine tune some of the skills you have learned. Up to this point everything has been a generalized point of view to be an introductory. As a well rounded witch you need to utilize any skills that resonate with you. Who's to say what might come up? Whatever form of divination you have embraced you will become knowledgeable enough to teach a class on it, and or possibly be asked to do a paper on it.
You will pursue deeper knowledge in all areas, not just one or two!
As we do not yet have a formal temple , the 2nd degree candidates will aid in the organization of Open Rituals for the High Days.
Activities that make our group visible in the public eye as a positive influence, not only in the Pagan Community but the community in general are strongly reccomended. Currently there is support for the local food pantry.
The reading list will be one that you create, keep track of . You will read books that challenge you that you previously did not read as a 1st degree candidate.
